HPA Project Managers are responsible for the management of the entirety of projects, from start to finish such as conceptual, schematic design, design development and construction services. With responsibilities for leading consultants, internal resources, overseeing the development of contract documents, facilitating contracts, construction site representation, and emerge as the primary client contact throughout the life of a project.

Project Manager Requirements

  • 8+ years of Experience managing architecture projects (experience in industrial architecture projects, warehouse distribution centers and manufacturing facilities is a plus, but not a must)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

  • Working knowledge of code reviews, technical details, and construction plan sets.

  • Excellent communication and multitask skills.

  • Ability to be a great team player and manage/support a team of junior staff.

  • AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.

We are Hiring a Project Designer in Irvine California

HPA Project Designers are responsible for developing and preparing rough and detailed documents, drawings and marketing plans for assigned construction projects, including single and multi-tenant plans according to zonal requirements. Assisting and supporting the Project Architect in the development of all levels of documents required for completion of a project. Coordinating with the consultants and contractors, serving as a representative of HPA, Inc., to ensure builder compliance with design specifications and advise of design corrections under the direct supervision of the Project Architect. Assisting with the coordination and management of scheduling and timelines. Understanding the implementing City processing and permitting procedures. Maintaining knowledge of and determining applicable building codes, by-laws and site requirements. Utilizing technical knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software to produces construction documents, surveys, charts, forms, records and reports. Obtaining, analyzing and assembling data to complete the project data including building area, building coverage, parking requirements and site area. Telecommuting (remote work) is available for this role. Position reports to management in Irvine, CA.

Project Designer Requirements

  • 2+ years of Experience with a Bachelor’s degree and 0 years with a Master’s degree.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Master’s degree in Architecture.

  • AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch-up, Corel Draw, and Autodesk Maya 2008 proficiency.
