A little fun fact about myself. I am Abigail, I have a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Philippines. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and traveling with my family.   I have two lovely children who keep me busy. My favorite artists are Taylor Swift & BTS. 

I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu, Philippines, and became a licensed Mechanical Engineer. Beyond my professional background, I have a deep love for traveling, which allows me to explore new places and cultures. I’m also an avid sushi lover, always seeking the best sushi spots. In my free time, I enjoy playing bowling and experimenting with various musical instruments, having also been a proud member of a band during my time in the Philippines. Additionally, I have a unique hobby of collecting 1/16 RC Main Battle Tanks, which blends my passion for engineering and military history.

I am an architect with a master’s degree in architecture from Western part of India where I grew up as well. I have a deep appreciation for design and creativity, which extends beyond my profession into my hobbies. I enjoy arts and crafts, often exploring new creative projects, and have a passion for dancing. I embrace life with energy and creativity. When it comes to food, I love the vibrant flavors of Indian street food and the aromatic delights of Thai and Japanese cuisine.  

Architect with 3 years of experience working on warehouse projects, assisting Project Managers in delivering projects ahead of schedule while ensuring compliance with code standards. Additionally, 3 years of experience reviewing and developing commercial architecture, including Walmart renovations and new stores, and 4 years of experience working on residential projects. Enjoys playing soccer and tennis, as well as exploring different cuisines, particularly Mediterranean, Japanese, and Mexican.

My favorite color is green – it just gives off those calm, peaceful vibes. I’m always on the hunt for the next cool restaurant or hidden dessert spot to check out. And when it comes to music, I’m all in – whether it’s playing with my band or exploring new tunes to enjoy.

Hello, I was born in the Philippines and moved to the US just after high school. I enjoy spending time with family and watching sports, but my main passion is cooking and editing videos.

I’m Grace Shin, an architectural designer based in Orange County. My journey in architecture began in Korea and led me to Southern California, where I honed my skills in creating thoughtful, innovative designs. With a strong focus on detail, I have experience in designing industrial, commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. I specialize in blending creativity with functionality, crafting designs that are both visually engaging and practical. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, traveling, reading, journaling, and practicing yoga. I am a fan of homemade Korean cuisine; I find inspiration in both my professional and personal pursuits.

Architecture is my vocation !!! I entered the USA to study architecture after an architecture bachelor’s degree in Korea. I got a master’s degree from Univ. of Oklahoma and Ph.D. from Texas A&M Univ. After all degrees in architecture, I have been working with HPA as an architect. In addition to architecture, traveling with family and cooking for family give me another level of joyfulness”

Born and raised Southern California native, with a desire to be an architect since I was 5 years old.  Achieved Bachelor of Architecture from University of Southern California and licensed in the state of California.  On my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies and listening to music with my wife.

I’m Jocelyn, originally from Asia and a passionate foodie who loves cooking – especially anything from bold Asian flavors.  Whether it’s a comforting bowl of ramen, spicy curry, or homemade dumplings, you’ll find me in a kitchen experimenting with new recipes.  When I’m not cooking, I’m probably hanging out with my family and two adorable Shih Tzus, who keep life entertaining and full of cuddles.  I love exploring new restaurants and sharing my love for food with family and friends.

I’m José Canul and I have 14 years of experience with HPA in the field of industrial architecture. Prior to HPA, I worked in landscape architecture for 10 years. I’m married with grown children.  I enjoy hiking anywhere where the views are awesome! , traveling abroad and exploring historical and modern architecture. I like eating at different places to explore food flavors. I have to have coffee every day and I love dad jokes.  

Originally from South Korea, I made the move to the United States in 2004 to pursue my studies at the University of Oren. There, I dedicated myself to the field of architecture, eventually earning my Master of Architecture degree. In my free time, I enjoy the simple pleasures of life—taking long drives, working out to stay focused and energized, and unwinding by watching YouTube videos. I also take pride in maintaining my car myself, whether it’s handling routine oil changes or other small upkeep tasks. True to my INTJ-A personality, I’m naturally introspective and value deep thinking over small talk. I prefer meaningful conversations and well-thought-out ideas rather than surface-level chatter. When it comes to food, nothing beats the comfort and flavor of Korean and Japanese cuisine—my personal favorites. For the things I like, I’ve always had a passion for cars with powerful internal combustion engines, especially the raw sound of their exhaust. I also have an appreciation for the analog charm of film cameras, and I’ve long been a fan of iconic figures like Godzilla and towering giant robots—symbols of strength, design, and imagination.

Hello, my name is Loren Littlefield. Born and raised in Orange County, California. I love trying new restaurants, spending time in the sun, traveling with my best friends, and cuddling with my dog, Bella. I am a big fitness gal, so I am always checking out new Pilates studios and grabbing a Vanilla Latte or matcha at the newest viral Coffee shop. I’d be lying if I didn’t mention my guilty pleasure – spending a little too much time at the mall with my mom.

I was born and raised in the Philippines and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southwestern University. My Favorite sport is ping pong, and I also love collecting unique and rare items, such as old coins. During my free time, I enjoy tinkering with my car, especially JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) vehicles.

I’ve been with HPA since 2017, and honestly, I still love being a part of the team. The sense of teamwork, professionalism, and the family-like atmosphere here really keep me going. I’ve always been a curious person, which has led me to try new things and meet all kinds of interesting people along the way. Even though I’ve worked in different fields, they all seem to have one thing in common—warehouses and industrial buildings. Outside of work, I love hanging out with my family, watching the clouds in the sky, enjoying the weather with a cup of coffee (though I don’t drink it), and volunteering to teach kids at church.

I attended Cal State Long Beach many years ago.  I am proud to say I have been here since 1993.  Along the way being a part of HPA has been a source of great satisfaction for me.  I truly enjoy what I do and the people around me.  My hobbies include shopping and vacationing at the lake.  My family is my greatest blessing.  Traditional Italian food is my favorite – the spicier the better. 

Curious by Nature, Passionate by Choice. I’ve always been the kind of person who’s interested in everything, especially the things most people overlook. Some might call me a jack of all trades, but I see it as a love for learning and discovering the unexpected. Whether it’s cooking, road cycling, sports, or even something as oddly satisfying as pimple popping, I dive in with curiosity and enthusiasm. Architecture has always fascinated me, maybe because it’s everywhere yet rarely truly noticed. The same could be said about the little details in life that make things interesting. But above all, my greatest passion is my family—my four kids keep me on my toes, challenge me, and inspire me every day. At work, I bring that same curiosity and energy, always looking for new ways to solve problems, connect ideas, and make things better.

Xiaomin was born and raised in China, studied for ten years at the highly acclaimed Architectural Department of Southeast University in China, and graduated with a PhD in Architecture. She is a licensed architect in both California and China and holds a LEED AP qualification in the United States. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling, and has traveled to many countries both for work and leisure.
