Project Description
Spanning 1,800 acres, the International Park of Commerce (IPC) is one of the largest master-planned industrial developments in Northern California. Designed to balance scale, flexibility, and long-term sustainability, the campus comprises 14 buildings designed by HPA, totaling more than 10 million square feet of state-of-the-art logistics, manufacturing, and distribution space.
HPA served as lead architect for the master plan and building design, collaborating closely with Prologis and the broader project team to establish a cohesive architectural identity and an efficient, phased development strategy.
The park is home to the first 50-foot-clear speculative industrial building in the region, an industry-leading prototype that redefines vertical capacity and efficiency. Optimized envelope design, expanded auto and trailer parking, flexible speculative building prototypes, and expedited build-to-suit delivery strategies have all been implemented at a regional scale, setting a new standard for next-generation industrial design.
